Certificate of Completion is EXPIRED. How do I get a new one?
A Certificate of Completion is valid for three years from the date it was issued. The expiration date can be located on the Certificate of Completion itself.
If your Certificate of Completion has expired, but you need a valid (unexpired) one in order to apply for an insurance license with the California Department of Insurance (CDI), you'll have to retake the prelicensing course all over again to get a current Certificate of Completion. Please continue reading . . .
ONLY ONE CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION CAN BE ISSUED PER PRELICENSING COURSE. This means that you CANNOT just purchase a course extension for a previously completed prelicensing course to get a new Certificate of Completion issued. Instead, you'll need to create a NEW account within Upward Bound so that you can purchase a brand new (unused) version of the prelicensing course. You'll then need to complete the new prelicensing course to get a new Certificate of Completion issued.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that's the only way to obtain a new Certificate of Compleiton.
If you need to create a brand new account within Upward Bound and wish to use the same email address that you used with your old account, just send an email to support@upwardboundtraining.com and request that your old account be closed so that you can reuse the same email address for your new account. Otherwise, you can just create a new account using a different email address.
Good luck!
