How long will I have access to my course?
Prelicensing courses come with 90 days of access from the date of purchase. After 90 days, you'll still be able to login to your account and view your history (and access your Certificate of Completion, receipts, etc.), but you will NOT be able to launch any of the modules within your course. If access is needed beyond the expiration date, 60-day course extensions can be purchased. (See How to Purchase 60-Day Course Extension section below.)
How to Locate Expiration Date
- Log into your Upward Bound account
- In the upper right corner, click on Your Name and then on My Profile
- Click on the Purchase History tab
- The expiration date is located next to the course name (see picture below)
How to Purchase 60-Day Course Extension
If you need access beyond the initial 90-day access period, you can purchase 60-day course extensions for $59 by doing the following:
- Log into your Upward Bound account
- Locate the course for which you need an extension
- Click the Buy Extension button to purchase the extension (see picture below)
Some useful things to know regarding 60-Day Course Extension . . .
- Course Extensions are only available for 60-Day periods
- Extensions less than 60 days are NOT available
- Course extensions can be purchased BEFORE or AFTER your course access has expired
- There's no limit to the number of course extensions you can purchase for a course
- Your work progress history is always saved so you can purchase an extension and pick up from where you previously left off in the course
- Upward Bound cannot grant free extensions due to various licensing agreements we have in place (So please don't ask! We hate to be the bad guys!)
Exam Cram Courses
The rules for Exam Cram courses are a little different. For Exam Cram courses, the initial access period is 14 days and course extensions are available in 14-day increments
