Certificates of Completion only issued for 12-hr CA Code & Ethics eff. Jan 1, 2026.

Effective Jan. 1st, 2026, Certificates of Completion will no longer be issued for prelicensing courses as they are no longer required or valid as a result of CA Assembly Bill 943 (AB 943). (See exception below)

EXCEPTION
A certificate of completion is still required for the 12-hr CA Code & Ethics requirement. The Upward Bound system will still issue a certificate of completion for this portion of a prelicensing course. Your certificate information is automatically transmitted to the CDI, so there's no need for you to send it to them yourself.

As a reminder, PSI Exams does not need your Certificate of Completion for you to schedule or take an exam.
